Pet Health and Welfare
The American Society for the Prevention of the Cruelty to Animals website contains information on shelters, rehabilitation and poison control amongst other topics. There is also a link to the very fun and educational childrens site packed with activities.
The Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has a very colourful sight containing information on the Ontario SPCA Act, lists of shelters in the province, ways to help prevent cruelty and fun facts for the kids.

A well organized website containing a bounty of information on behavioural and medical problems that are commonly experienced with your pets. It is not reccomended as a replacement for veterinary advice specific to your individual pet, however it is a reliable and well documented site for supplemental information.
